Meurs is an Assistant Professor of Management in the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi. He received a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management from Florida State University. He has contributed sole and/or co-authored work to several conferences, including the annual meetings of The Academy of Management, The Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology, The Southern Management Association, and The Work, Stress, and Health Conference. He has published in journals such as Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Human Performance, and The International Journal of Human Resource Management.
