Education:
Tony Ammeter
is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and holds a joint
appointment as an Associate Professor in the Management
Department and the Management Information Systems Department in
the School of Business
Administration at the University of Mississippi. His research
is focused on the formation and maintenance of organizations made up of
technical or knowledge-based workers and the impact of the age of Electronic
Commerce and the Internet on working, managing, and leading in today's
organizations. Particular
interests are the use of software engineering principles in project teams,
open source software development, leadership, trust, and communication in
teams, outsourcing and offshoring, and the use of political skill in
organizations. His research has included teams from the fields of
engineering design, software development, construction project management,
and the military. He has worked as an R&D Engineer and Project Manager for seven
years and is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). Courses: Click here
