REQUIRED TEXTS:

None.  We will be making extensive use of Internet-based resources.


DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:
A study of decision support systems in terms of the roles an individual assumes in developing the components of a DSS, i.e., DSS builder, intermediary and technical adviser.  Included are topics in expert systems and artificial intelligence. 
Prerequisite: MIS-309.

MAJOR OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:

We will complete two projects this semester.  The first project will be an individual project and the second project will involve the entire class as the project team.  The "Projects" portion of your semester grade will be the average of your grade on these two projects.
